	Sorting C e r e m o n y Once a year new students are welcomed into Hogwarts by receiving a letter telling them about their powers, and other important thing that all students need to know. The students go to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and ride the Hogwarts Express to the castle. Once they're all situated, the sorting ceremony begins! Moderator: Headmistress	0	0

Entrance H a l l
	Entrance H a l l Double oak front doors, opening to the west. Large, cavernous room, lit by torches, with a ceiling so high it's barely visible. Wide marble staircase opposite the front doors (east wall) leading up to the first floor. Double doors to the right (south wall) leading into the Great Hall. On the east wall are two doors, one on either side of the staircase. To the north of the staircase is a door leading down a flight of steps to the first dungeon level. To the south is a door leading to the Hufflepuff common room and the kitchens. On the left (north wall) is a door leading to a smaller antechamber where First Years wait to be sorted. 	Great H a l l Vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling which mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses. Closest to the doors from the Entrance Hall is Slytherin, then Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and next to the far wall, Gryffindor. The teachers sit at the High Table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Housepoints R o o m This room houses the Housepoint Hourglasses. Each house has different amounts of crystals in them determining how many points each house has received. First F l o o r
	Defense Against The D a r k A r t s Dangerous creatures and dangerous spells are what the curriculum calls for in this classroom. Here, you will learn how to block nasty spells, and how to defend yourself against certain, dark creatures. You can also learn about the anatomy of certain incantations and creatures that could very well haunt you. Moderators: Headmistress, Professor Jacob deLamento	0	0

	The S t a i r c a s e The staircses lead you to several different levels of the castle, and are the only way to get to classes on other floors. Be careful, though, when using the stairs; they have a mind of their own! Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	History Of M a g i c This class hosts lectures on various aspects of magical history, such as the Ancient Egyptians to many aspects of the present. The material tends to describe the origins of spells, the secrets of gruesome creatures, violent wars, and many other things that may fall under the category of the magical history. Second F l o o r
	Girls L a v a t o r y A place for girls to gossip about one another and to start rumors like girls do. Drama tends to start here, but that doesn't keep girls from coming and eavesdropping. Maybe they can just use the lavoratory for its original purpose? But be careful, for the ghost that haunts these stalls is everywhere! Beware of Moaning Myrtle. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	T r a n s f i g u r a t i o n Transfiguration is magic which changes one object into another. It is possible to change inanimate objects into animate ones and vice versa. Some Transfiguration spells alter a part of something, such as changing a person's ears from normal into rabbit ears, or a rat into an ordinary drinking goblet. Transfiguration isn't as easy as it sounds, though! Moderator: Headmistress	0	0

Third F l o o r
	C h a r m s Charms are a type of magic spell concerned with enchanting an object to behave in a way that isn't normal for that object. Charms is also something of a catch-all for spells which aren't Transfiguration. In some sense, if a spell isn't Transfiguration, it's probably Charms. Moderators: Headmistress, Autumn Bedford	0	0
	Forbidden C o r r i d o r The title speaks for its self; This corridor is Forbidden. Many students have been caught in the past, and they got detention. Some say there's many secrets down this hallway, others say it's just a reason for Professors to get them in trouble. But don't let that keep you from going into the Forbidden Corridor. 	Boys L a v a t o r y Here is where boys.. talk?.. Gossip?... Hmm... Or, maybe, throw wads of wet toilet paper at the ceiling? Flood the bathrooms? Then again, it could be where they use it for its original use. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
Fourth F l o o r
	L i b r a r y The Hogwarts library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Included in its many sections is an Invisibility Section, a section with information about dragons, and a Restricted Section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse that section of the library; it contains books of Dark Magic only used by older students studying advanced Defense Against the Dark Arts. 	Muggle C r e a t u r e s In Muggle Creatures, you shall learn about many things, from baby seals to lions and mountain goats to large sea turtles. It can get very interesting, especially when the professor brings in real, live animals for you to see! Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Fifth C o r r i d o r This is where you can talk to your fellow classmates in between classes, BUT this corridor is different from all the others. In this corridor all the ghosts love to hang out here, it also does not have any windows, so it is very dark. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Headmaster and Headmistress' O f f i c e This is where the Headmaster and Headmistress preside during school hours, now they dont normally like to be disturbed unless it is an urgent matter, such as students were fighting.. Sixth F l o o r
	Muggle S t u d i e s Classwork includes charts showing Muggles lifting heavy objects without magic, understanding the importance of electricity to Muggle technology, and so on. The emphasis, like Arthur Weasley's enthusiasms, appears to focus solely on the physical aspects of life without magic, without mention of cultural differences. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0

	Room Of R e q u i r e m e n t s A magical room that suits the desires of whomever wishes to use it. It is located across the hall from a picture of Barnabas the Barmy teaching trolls how to dance the ballet. All you have to do is pace back and fourth three times, while thinking of what you want the room to transform into. For example, if I wanted a room that was good for... reading, it would transform itself to have a ton of books ( that are of my favorite genre ) and a lot of comfortable chairs. D u n g e o n s
	P o t i o n s Here, your professor can teach you how to bewitch the mind, brew fame and glory, and even put a stopper on death, or so Severus Snape has said in the past, although not those exact words. Basically, you will be taught how to make Potions and what their needed for. This can also be an important class. 	The D u n g e o n s The dungeons are dark, wet, and creepy. Come on, who wouldn't expect that? They lead mainly to the Potions classroom and to the Slytherin Common Rooms, but everything else is normally useless... unless you have a knack for adventure and trouble. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	K i t c h e n s The kitchen, as the name might tell you, is where food is made. House elves run about, preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner feasts in the Great Hall straight above. Many times, students come here to get snacks before or after meals, and the elves can't help but to follow the command. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
High T o w e r
	Hospital W i n g The Whomping Willow is a very violent tree. The stairs can get dangerous when a Slytherin is behind you. Alot of things can get dangerous, and harm you! If you ever need a treatment, then come here. The Nurse will take care of you. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	A s t r o n o m y The stars, the planets, comets, and more! The class of Astronomy can take you places you've never been before. Learn about galaxies besides the Milky Way, and so much more! Moderators: Headmistress, Shawn Monroe	0	0
	O w l e r y The Owlery, where the school owls and the owls belonging to students live.. It is a circular stone room, rather cold and drafty, because none of the windows have glass in them. The floor is entirely covered in straw, owl droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice and voles. Hundreds upon hundreds of owls of every breed imaginable are nestled here on perches that rise right up to the top of the tower, nearly all of them asleep, though here and there a round amber eye glares. 	Clock T o w e r Located at the top most part of High Tower, this clock rings when it is time for class to end, also when it is time for beakfast and dinner. In here you can go behend the clock and see how it works, there are hand-me down couches that students from the past brought up, so there would be a place to sit. It is rather cold here in the winter... But it's essentially a place to " Unwind " ... Hehe.. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Student L o u n g e Do you feel like socializing with other students that aren't in your common room? Then this is the place to be! Many comfy seats are around this area, and there's a endless supply of food and drinks. This is almost better then going to Hogsmeade. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
G r o u n d s
	L a w n s The school lawns are big. They stretch across the whole outside, with the exception of the lake. Here, students talk with another, get fresh air, finish up with their classwork, and when it snows, have snowball fights! There are also classes held out here. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Herbology G r e e n h o u s e s This, most obviously, is where the Herbology lessons are held. Without Herbology, Potions coudn't be made, because it takes a wide knowledge of these magical plants to make them. That's why learning about the wolfbane and mandragora, as well as many other plants, is an important thing. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Flying F i e l d Flying lesson are held here. This is this place to learn about Quidditch, how to fly a broom successfully, and basically anything that is necassary in the category of Flying. It can be proven to be a useful class, at times. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Quidditch P i t c h Quidditch matches are held in this large, oval-shaped field. It sits about one hundred eighty feet wide and five hundred feet long, giving the players plenty of room to play. There are three poles, fifty feet tall, with hoops atop them, standing on each side of the field. There is also an area on each side with the scores for the match. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	L a k e The lake sits out across from Hogwarts, stretching as far as- and even farther- than the eye can possibly see. Inside lurks the giant squid, and it's not exactly proven to be too harmful to the residents of Hogwarts-- but it's still pretty harmful! Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Forbidden F o r e s t To the east of Hogwarts castle lies a dark forest, filled with many creatures. It is oftentimes, and more commonly so, refered to as the "Forbidden Forest", but it isn't necassarily forbidden; just a friendly warning from the Head of the school that anyone who wants to live need to stay away. Little light gets in, if any, so not many plants apart from trees manage to grow here. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
	Care Of Magical C r e a t u r e s Are you fascinated in Magical Creatures? Do you want to be able to ride the Hippogrifs? Then this is the class for you! Moderators: Headmistress, Jayce Evans	0	0
	Crystal R i v e r Crstal River is one of the finest place on school grounds. It's water is deep, and it's able to be swam in. There is also a bridge that goes across the river. If you go across that bridge, you will end up in another grassy area filled with flowers and places to just run free. It's quite beautiful. Moderator: Headmistress	0	0
